NATURAL HOME PROTECTION
I found a few droppings near the back of my pantry, so I cleaned the shelves and placed two of these in the corners. The peppermint smell was noticeable at first but not unpleasant. I have not seen any new signs in that area for the past couple of weeks.
I placed several around the shelves and storage boxes in my garage. There is no spraying, mixing or trap to set, which is exactly what I wanted. The scent is fairly strong when the package is first opened, but it becomes milder after a few days.
I first used one in a large open basement and could barely smell it. It worked much better inside a storage cabinet and near a small entry gap. I also sealed the opening and removed some old cardboard boxes. Larger areas will probably need several balls.
We store our camper for several weeks at a time and were worried about mice getting near the cabinets. I placed these in the lower storage compartments and under the sink. The camper smelled fresh when we opened it again, and I did not find any damaged packaging.
